^^ here's my car
The only thing im worried about is what's posted in the first paragraph of his post. Do you think it would be a good trade? Should I do it? This will be my first infects, is there anything I should look for?

i would say go for it but get a ls throttle cable and replace it to make sure the engine isnt messed up. if it works fine then i say go for it but make sure you get the type r wing , keep your in dash and CHECK THE VIN ON THE CAR TO MAKE sURE ITs NOT A Ls TYPE R CONVERsION

I would test drive the car and check it out in person. It has significant mods, so you want to check out if he halfassed anything. Also, check the VINs - on the motor and the chassis. Don't believe any BS excuse he gives you if the motor is missing a VIN, unless it's JDM motor.
I don't know if you guys noticed, but it's missing the main thing that makes the GSR more desirable over the LS, the motor. He says in there it's running a B18B1, which is the LS motor. You'd basically be getting a GSR with an LS drivetrain. That isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it looks like it's been modded a lot, so you really have no idea what you're going to get. Hope you're pretty mechanically inclined, because you have a decent chance of having a lot of work to do.
It's definately clean from the pictures I didn't dee any sidemarkers though but like any cR on craigslist go check it out first but me personally I wouldn't wanna pay extra money to my insurance company for a gsr and not have the main party piece-the motor but hey that's just me I always had a soft spot for a hard looking dc
i have to agree with the fellas. Does it look nice? yes. Is it questionable? fo sho! my first issue would be the shell/motor combo. what is the car really? LS? GSR? If it is a GSR then the motor isnt correct. It will definitely need a clutch because in my opinion why would you take all that apart only to do a throw out bearing. Second if the car is what he says it is why trade it? See it in person and quiz him about it within an inch of his life. Youll be able to pick up on any bs or if he's shady. good luck!!!

If he lets you take it to a mechanic to have a good look at it, and the mechanic says it's OK, then go for it.
IMO your better off finding a stock LS, you can probably fins a low milage one in very good shape for less the $3000. 94

I wouldnt, if you havent already. Looks shady. If hes swapping a b18b1, and has a gsr shell, hes prolly gunna run it like a GSR should be ran. Modded cars are always a risk like said above. Who knows how he drives it.
i cant see the ad for the integra for sale but id take a ls over a sohc any day its worth putting extra money into in my opinion but if u need your civic as a daily driver i wouldnt do it / but if u go look at it test drive the heck out of it make sure no grinds in tranny and motor sounds smooth and check the oil and see if there is antifreeze mixing with it and bring a mechanic friend
