finally my 89 **** box DX has a tach.. i got a crx guage cluster($50CDN and it has 50000 km less than original ) and made the easy swap (10 min max)...

side note.. where are the letters that display your enginge type.. i heard it was on bottom of oil pan/case.. iono.. im a complete noob at these things, thats why im so happy about the new cluster...

and is crx redline same as civic dx redline??? (the crx cluster i got has redline at 6.5)

 

Just run it up to redline, then you'll know if it's the same

The blockstamp is on the front of the engine, to the left of the exhaust manifold.
