Default custom sun visors

Hey guys I'm looking to see if anyone has retrofitted or put custom black sun visor in an eg hatch. Or does anyone know if they're are black visor from another vehicle that'll work?

you could always "re wrap" them in some type of black cloth. but i'd just leave them as they are if they work properly.

If you've ever seen clean black headliner you'd know. And they work but with a black head liner they'd look terrible in the light grey. And I could rewrap them but the little clips would still be grey. And if I paint them the one that clips would chip back to grey and look tacky.

No I haven't. And your point is? If your headliner is black then reskin the visors to match.

Ever get the chance look at it. It's way cleaner than the light grey. I already painted my upper pillars and they're clean.

Learn how to paint correctly. If you do it right it will not chip. Try some adhesion promoter.

Really? That's going to stop it from shipping where it clicks in? Bro back outta the thread or think abiut what you're talking about. Plus the visor of the clip that clicks will still be grey and if I paint that it'll definitely chip. I'm not a paint guy but I know enough to know that if two pieces rub together after being painted they will chip. Especially with Hondas design of their eg sun visors.

Boy. You said sun visors. That's what I'm talking about. And if you don't know how to paint/dye plastics then I can see why you're having a problem seeing it working. Also if I remember correctly there was a black interior offered in JDM Civics. If you knew your Civic's you'd have known that.

My bad I'm not infatuated with the gay jdm everything. Part of the sun visor is the clips. And paint and dyes will always wear off. And don't call me boy. Have some respect. You came into this thread bashing my idea.

I don't believe any older model Civic form any country came with black sun visors...... Just sayin.

Look here for an idea of how to get them apart for wrapping. It looks pretty simple really...

I think the part where it bolts to the ceiling could be painted black, but you wouldn't want to paint the locking mechanism as it will just flake off over time.
