Default Battery prob.

Can someone help me figure out y my battery is swelling up in my car? I had an old battery with hids and a system hooked up to it.when I step on the gas my radio shut off. And when I turned the car on my hids shut off. If the car is off my hids and radio work. Soi got a new duralast gold and it did the same. So I took out the system and hids and my battery is swelling and the caps pop off. What could cause this?

Check the voltage regulator. Your system is overcharging.
