Does this come with the tuning license?

 

I dont have it. I bought it off someone and had a shop tune the car so they had a license allready. Im pretty sure you can download it though online someone probably put it on the web by now.

 

so its basically just a chipped ecu with a chip in it that was made with the tuners licence?

 

It has Demon hardware installed with USB connection on the side for data logging. The package normally sells for 399.99 alone with the license not including ECU, but like I said the tuner had the license and I didnt have to purchase one.

That is a link to the new RTP just to clarify this is the older style RTP as seen from the pictures.

 

Id like to see some pics, but im a little ignorant when it comes to the tuning/ems thing, but i have a gsr with iabs, and want/need a ems. This looks perfect, but the questions about the license have me stumped, cant i just download the rtp program and go from there. I suspect i need a little afr adjustments, I planned on doing this myself, so any answers/pics!

 

I just talked to HRTuning and used the serial on the back and downloaded there software. You do not need to buy a new license just use the serial which i have and download there software for free from the website. I'll get some pictures in a few mins.

 

 

Does it by chance have the boost option?

 

 

To be honest I dont really know. I would say no though only because my tuner didnt mention anything about it when he was tuning. But if theres a way to check I definitely will if your interested.
