Hey guys, Had an interesting question: I work at Tokico, which is actually now Hitachi, and I recently found out that any product we make I can get at wholesale price. I've seen where some people seem to favor tokico blues and such and was wondering what you guys would suggest in my shoes. Obviously, I'd like to be able to buy within the company, but if we make *** products, id rather avoid putting crap on my car. The vehicle is an em1 and my suspension goals aren't ambitious. I'd like to have just a slight edge over stock at 2.5 to 3 inch drop. Not looking to hug corners at the track, just mostly a cosmetically pleasing daily driver. Thanks for any input!

 

Illuminas are probably the best damper Tokico makes. HP's are definitely crap for anything more than the MILDEST of drops.

But even still I'm not sure if Illuminas will take a 3" drop and still last a long time. Koni Sports most definitely can.
