Default Will a 2nd Gen. Integra OBD0 Manual Transmision work with 1996 Integra w/B20B4 OBD2

I don't really know a lot of B-series, I know more about K-series.
Sorry if this has been covered, I don't really go on honda-tech so I don't know how to get around this website to find what I am looking for. I need someone that can help me, not talk crap.

I can get a hold of a 1989–1993 2nd Generation Integra Manual Transmission.

But before I do so, I want to make sure it will work with my 1996 Integra w/ a B20B4 swap.

Please let me know what if its possible, and what problems I will run into.

I believe the trans is OBD0, my car is OBD2 will there be an issue there?

'89 was actually the last year for the first gen, but no it wont work unless you want to get a hydro to cable conversion and aftermarket mounts, and if its a '90 - '91 tranny a new clutch. It's absolutely not worth it. If you're hydro tranny is bad but the case isn't damaged you could get a '92 - '93 Integra YS1 cable tranny though and swap the guts into your hydro case.

Would stick with the Hydro trans due to parts availability. 90-91 transmission parts are hard to come by at times and also require a different clutch as mentioned by 94EG8. I would stick with Hydro if possible. Doing a hydro to cable conversion is fine but its one more thing to worry about. If you ultimately go with a Cable trans then a 92-93 YS-1 short geared would be the way to go(if you can find a decent one).
