Heat
I just put a new radiator and thermostat in my 1991 Honda Accord. I did NOT have heat before and I still don't. I thought it was my thermostat. The bottom radiator hose is cold all the time, while the top is really hot. I also noticed that the inlet hose to the heater core is hotter then the outlet. I already did a back flush. I Also noticed that when I move the temperature dial from hot to cold my blower picks up. Any Ideas will help.

yes it goes back and forth. Before I changed the radiator and thermostat I could squeeze all of the radiator hoses completely together, now they are hard as a rock. After the heat control valve it seems the hoses seem to get colder.

Did you also flush the inlet and outlet?, you may also want to try a strong chemical, something that will eat away gunk. I would recommend liquid Drano or similar. If you don't feel safe with something that strong use bleach, let it soak for awhile.
