Not really. They are decent, but you can do much better.

An explanation would help the guy out...

I've heard a lot of good things about em, 2 buddys of mine have rocked em on slammed DD's and said they ride well for how low they are(maxed out), maybe a bit bouncy but still a comfy ride. Oh No! THEY'RE NOT MADE IN JAPAN YOUR NON-LEGIT-JDM PARTS ARE GARRRRRBAGE!

For that price you should get the Progress CS-II's instead.

Unless you want to dump the car, then you should probably get whatever chinese/taiwanese junk you want.

However, I have progress CS-II and I've been extremely happy but regretful. Wish I'd gone with the Koni/GC setup for the lifetime warranty and proven reliability/performance.

In the end, do it right the first time. Wait another month or two and save your money and do it right the first time. I've learned the hard way

Konigs -> volks (Konig finish was chipping after 3 months)

Progress -> Koni (worried about future upgrades and lifetime warranty)

Bouncy is not comfy, period.

Ride quality from person to person will change. Your friends saying they are comfy, doesn't mean ****.
For example, my car to me rides like absolut ****, unless the roads are as smooth as glass. To my friend they aren't bad. See?

Maybe your friends are comparing them to ebay coilovers and stock shocks. I bet they ride great compared to thoughs. How do we know?

Ride quality is all opinon.

They aren't terrible, but they are no where near the quality of progress, and koni/gc.

Also, you have to remember that the way a car rides feels different whether you're the driver or a passenger. When you're driving, your hands are on the wheel and sort of "brace" your movements to some extent, and the car might feel like it rides a bit better. If you're a passenger, then you're just sitting there bouncing around and the car might feel like it rides more stiff/bouncy/whatever.

Hella flush y0.

Define "flush"

The definition varies in practice.
