I have been looking for a b20a5 or b20a for about 2 weeks now. craigslist ebay wrecking yards engine importers in dfw etc. I need a short block. Can anyone help me with this? I really want to get it running and do not want to do a H swap. Its just a DD. I have researched other swaps ( accord etc) but came up with nothing. Thanks for any help.

I did not mean this as a wtb thread,I know there is a section for that. Just trying to see if someone has any info that can point me in the right direction.

Your only options will be to search craigslist, ebay, www.tigerjapanese.com, www.hmotorsonline.com, and www.foreignengines.com.

I purchased my B20a(JDM) long block from www.foreignengines.com, which are local to me. I am in WA state.

That motor was strong for the next 6 years before I did my H23a swap and sold it locally.

Other than that, you will need to go to www.p r e l u d e p o w e r.com(no spaces) and check out the forsale threads, many 3rd genners there.

 

whats wrong with the car do you still have the short block for it cuz im in need of one that runs and theres a place in maryland that actually has one in stock i believe they quoted me 850 whole engine ready to go into car with 77k on the motor
