Default EJ1 -- Out with the old shoes, in with the new..

New Additions. Still have yet to see any R81 EJ's running this combo.

Replacing the 15x6.5 Racing Sparco NS-II's with...........

OUT WITH THE OLD..

IN WITH THE NEW..

32mm CTR 5-Lug Swap and SUPER MINT 16" Gunmetal JDM ITR wheels with 205/45R16 Bridgestone Potenza RE11 tires.

I am installing everything at work this friday/saturday.. so pumped.

Can't wait to do the swap over and start the b18c rebuild in a few more weeks!!

****UPDATE**** INSTALL COMPLETE!

iPhone4 pix from work.

^^ Favourite shot from today

Very happy with the results, also installed all new PowerSlot rotors and managed to lower the ride height another 1/4" in the front for a better stance. Planning on running a 3-5mm spacer in the rear for a flush fitment, but other than that I am loving the new look!!!

comments, critisizm, opinions, flaming are all welcome. lemme know what you think.

Nice coupe! Whats up with the black lip on the hood though? Would look a lot cleaner without it.

^^ thats the factory hood edge protector which you never ever find still intact anymore. I just haven't bothered to take it off. Maybe I'll see what it looks like without it before I put it back on the road.

The old wheels are getting refinished in white and sold. My 195/50r15 potenza re11's are being traded for some paint work in the engine bay/valve cover and those (old) wheels.

Thanks for the comments so far. Working hard to get this street car looking much cleaner to my standards with the right variety of parts.

I had a set of them on my very first hatch, and didn't know what they we're , i was in high school so i didn't know much and my parents bought me the car , All i could remember was this kid hounding me every day that his older brother wanted to buy the rims off me, and i said no forever then i found out about mini me swaps and traded the kid's brother my rims for his rims and a z6 head lol. 5 years later i found out that they we're sparco . After my mom asked were my rims we're when i got home that day she was pissed.

I have been trying to buy a set ever since.

I seen a nissan sentra in my town with them and left a note on his window to buy them , he never called me.

Oh Well, Something better i guess.

I think I like the old wheels better. Those wheels just look better on 6th gen civics. Personal taste.
