help with clutch and flywheel choice b18c-r
i got a b18c-r, motor is all stock and running strong, the clutch is starting to slip a little though. i was wonder what a good brand of clutch is, i want a clutch that is stronger than stock that will grab a little harder since i autocross almost every weekend.
also doing to do a lightweight flywheel, i know the stock flywheel is about 14-16 pounds, i was thinking about going with a 10ish lb, anyone have any suggestions on a brand or think im going to light for it also being a daily driver?

I personally did a stage one clutch and loved it. The light weight flywheel I did was 9lbs and it sucked. I had to rev the engine very high so that I didn't stall it when I took off. It felt like I was driving a motorcycle.
Did you ever change flywheel to something else? Do you autocross with the car ever or hard driving? And does the stage one clutch have more clamping force than stock, I do want at least a little stronger clutch
I was thinking an act heavy duty pressure plate and a Performance disk, sound good for a car I'm gonna autocross almost every weekend but also daily drive? Is the heavy duty pressure plate gonna be to strong for a daily car?
Then I was thinking a 12.5 lb act flywheel so it's a little nicer for daily but still loose a little weight, stock itr is about 15-16 I believe, can't find a for sure answer on that
So does it sound good or should I go with another brand to save some money??

The stage one I bought said it was rated for 220ft lbs of clamping force. I beat the hell of of my car. The light weight flywheel meant that I could bump the throttle to down shift. It lets the engine rev up a lot faster. But is also reduces torque at low RPMS. Its true that a lightweight flywheel does give you more horsepower, about 1-5hp at 6,000 - 7000rpm. Its not worth it at all for a daily driver. Maybe if its a drag racing car. Also make sure you replace the rear main seal( crankshaft seal). Otherwise your new clutch might get covered in oil, and destroyed.
