I'm in the process of doing some work to my civic and I just put a new exhaust on, the problem is that the clearance between the exhaust and the bumper is very thin and I would like some help in finding some the drop lower than stock,

go to a muffler shop and have them put on longer hangers. do you really want to order steel rod online?

 

exhaust shop will do it better and faster than you ordering the part. Probably cheaper too.

Well my friend decided to gap his exhaust, which is when you unbolt the two screws holding the exhaust pipe and muffle together, put the springs on the inside part of the exhaust to the pipe and screw it back together, thus pushing the exhaust out a little more. Thats why i asked if you gapped it because when he did it was a few mm. from falling off the hangers. Its a cheap way to get a loud exhaust lol dont do it its so annoying specially when it starts rattling and you tend to smell fumes from time to time. Btw idk if thats the right terminology for it.
