Default Prelude SH question (suspension)

is there anyway to lower the SH without throwing off the ATTS? i'm a noob with preludes, but my buddy has one and wants to lower it. can this be done? or does the ATTS still work even tho you lower it? TIA for any help.

It can definitely be lowered at least 2" without affecting the ATTS system. But if you are looking to "slam" a Type SH, you can run into issues. If the car is too low, the ATTS computer will interpret the yaw sensor data as bad and the ATTS computer can shut the system off.

This was my contribution to help this guy. My throught revolved around the fact that as you lower your car, your lower control arm angle changes. (the pic explains.)

My thought was that if you lower your car so much that the angle of the lower control arm points toward the ground as it does in the last pic. Then the bending of the drive axel will negatively affect ATTS.
So that's my 2 cents.

youve gotta keap all 4 wheels at the same height also, any discrepency in the f/b angle of the car will touch off the ATTS monster too... i think this is the big reason why most manufaturers list thier suspension kits as " 97-01 (ex SH) " .... bitches
