Post: Pics OEM bumper moded for intercooler
EG front bumper (forgot to say)
Im planning on running just an OEM front bumper this year. I have been looking on HT seeing some ideas of how people moded the bumper to get more air to the intercooler and as well look decent. Could you guys post pics of your front bumpers to give me more of better idea how to finish mine. my intercooler size in 12x31x3. im look to keep clean looking also. Thanks guys!

Good question! I'm also looking for ideas. What are you guys using to make such nice and clean looking cuts? I would be really happy if mine doesn't turn out looking like garbage!
Current setup, just trimmed the grill area (Downside is, it covers almost 50% of the surface area of the IC)..

Or you could always stick with the good ole "speed hole" method lol... (old car)

I know there are some people out there who have done some fancy fiberglass work and tin work... Those are the ones I would like to see!!! I'd love to close off the fog light holes and somehow make the grill flow straight into the IC core like a funnel...

I always use an air cut off tool with a new blade. If i'm doing it on before a paint job it's not a big deal but if i'm trying to do it w/out chipping any paint i tape up and mark where i'm cutting. then take a roloc disc to smooth the plastic out. Pull the tape off and use clear finger nail polish right at the edge to make sure the edges don't chip.
