i just had my valve cover powder coated and i am about to put it back on. the surface that sits on the head is painted too, and i am wondering if i need to clean off that surface befoer i put it on. the groove that holds the gasket is cleaned out though, so it should be sealed if i put it on. also, the inside of the cover was painted, will that be a problem?
