I got a question about my transmision in my 91 si.??
All the gears seems just fine its just the first gear that puzzles me. Not sure if this is normal but my first gear is so short that its practically unusable. When I put it into gear and accelerate it begins to redline pretty quick. Is this common to have an extremely short 1st gear? I have gotten to where i just use the 2nd gear in place of the 1st....lol

 

is it the stock tranny for the car?

 

I have a used tranny for you! It's in great shape, and my first gear works!

 

dont accelerate so fast and it will seem longer. Si trans was made to accelerate faster than the dx or hf
