Default Noisy exhaust Valvetrain b18b

Just replaced TB and WP on my b18b and adjusted the valve lash.

Everything is in spec and car runs smooth but I am getting a lot of tapping noise from the exhaust valves (alsmost like a slap). Intake side is perfect.

Also, when I was adjusting the exhaust side, regardless of the lash, the rocker arm can be wiggled from side to side much more than the intake side. I am guessing this may be the culprit; however, not really sure how to address it?

Should the pivot bolts be changed? or adjustment screw?

car has 130K

as long as youre sure the valves were adjusted correctly (to the right spec), and tb timing is dead on, its probably normal. those heads tend to be a bit noisy, especially at higher milage. also make sure you use the right oil weight, it may be noisier with lighter oil...

I checked the specs today and everything was fine. All rockers are still in place too.

It does need an oil change so that could be it. Thanks
