long story involved a switch in perscription while going from contacts to glasses (it really f**ked up my vision ...) a tahoe where it should not have been w/ no hazards and not me completeting a lane change as quickly as was needed (well I thought it was going to be quick enough...) I was going 35-40 in a 45 zone.
As I thought I was fine and was way in the clear I never hit the brakes I was coasting during the lane change.
when i hit the tahoe's bumper made first contact with my hood right above headlight level ~1.2ft in from the passenger fender. The bumper actually hit the firewall of my car and it pushed the battery into were the dash should sit.... when everything stoped moving i got out of my car found my glasses which came off when I hit. I got a scratch on my right arm a AirBag burn the size of a silver dollar on my left forarm.
I remember more of what happened now than when it happened.

 

At least you're all right! Damn dude, it looks like a highway accident. If the engine's ok, what are your plans with it?

everything is said and done this was happened back in july on the 31st
they paid off my loan (I was down to 7500 on the loan they gave me between private party and dealer retail 16.1k so I got 8500 back.)

 

Damn, it seems like everybody totals out those things. I totaled my SI about six months ago and i talked to this guy yesterday who totaled his SI also. I miss mine even though i got my Type r now.
