Default "Big Payout Memorial Race in Arkansas"

Limgo Shootout
May 28, 4-10pm

I know most of you have never heard of this race. It is usually the biggest import race for the Arkansas crowd for the last couple years. Long story short, we had a driver here that was very well known in the import class for being extremely competitive in the classses he was in and would go out of his way to help anyone. He passed away abruptly in his apartment and it was a big loss for everyone that knew him. His parents have been holding a memorial race since then, and this is the last year. There are three import classes for the race, and each of them pay out almost $1,200 a piece. The classes are as follows:

STREET IMPORT:
4cyl or 6 cyl Front engine with front or rear wheel drive import or domestic subcompacts.
All motor No Power adders
Drag Radials allowed on FWD cars
All other combos 140 or higher treadwear Street Tires
Street Legal Exhaust Required/Cats Not Required
Interior must retain Dash & Door Panels.

MODIFIED IMPORT
4 or 6cyl. RWD cars with 1 power adder allowed
With 140 or higher treadwear tire
4 cyl N/A Rear Engine on 140 or Higher Treadwear
4 or 6 cyl FWD with only 1 of the Following
Nitrous
Turbo Charger/Super Charger
or Slicks
Street Legal Exhaust/Cats Not Required
Interior must retain Dash & Door Panels

SUPER IMPORT

Remains same
Rear wheel drive and all wheel drive imports with any Power adder. No Slicks
Front Wheel Drive cars with any tire or power adder allowed in this class
Street Legal Exhaust Required/Cats Not Required

This is a 1000' foot track and is a great atomosphere. It would be great to see alot of cars to show up to this and the payout is pretty damn good for a local import race. Post up if you are interested or have any questions. Also, you can find the link on facebook at:

This is a great event to attend! I have competed in it for the last couple years and like it better than a big track! And we like making the V8 guys open their eyes a little wider!

Like these guys said, this is a very good and fun race to be at! I will be at a lot of Ifo's before then. I will probably have flyers with me, so if you see me in the black Delsol come talk to me and grab a flyer or a few.

I have a question concerning my car.... Would a dodge SRT4 FWD be allowed to race in these classes considering i am not an import?

Yes, you will be in the Modified class if you are on street tires/drag radials, if you run slicks you'll be in Super.

One of my friends already called me about the rules. Just to clear things up where it says super import rules remains same, that means it remains the same as it used to be and not meaning the same as modified and street.

Super import is fwd with any power adders, slicks allowed. 4cyl/6cyl rwd 1 power adder allowed and only drag radials. awd's 1 power adder, drag radials only.

Also for the street legal exhaust thing, street import cars will need to have full exhaust exiting in the stock location. Modified will need to pass at least the middle of the car, all motor cars will require at least a bullet muffler. Super import can be open downpipe on turbo cars and all motor cars with open header.

Any more questions, feel free to pm me.

We want a big turnout this race! Hope a lot of you can make it!

payouts are 1168 for 1st, 300 for 2nd, and 50 to semis. I tried to get them to make the payouts divide up a little more even, but they didn't want to change them. Hopefully this won't keep it from being a good turnout!

Awesome! We'll be looking forward to seeing you. You gonna be running on drag radials or slicks?
