ok to start i have a 94 del sol s i have a d16y8 im putting in its already mounted i have the p28 ecu and i have a 2000 gsr harness i was told that it will work now the problem is that the couple connectors on the back bottem end for the harness where the altenator is and all that will not hook up im guessing i will have to get a different altenator idk thats where im stuck if anyone has done this before or knows what i need to do please help im beyound frustrated...i know i need different injectors,dizzy,and vis which is fine a trip to the jk will fix that but please i need help thank u

What alternator do you have?

 

it could be that the other things u have are for obd2... and ur motor and other connections maybe obd1... jus sayin..

 

The altenator is from the stock y8 to tell u the truth
I think the best thing for me to do is to just get a z6 harness
Which is the original vtec harness that will go right in the
Del sol no problem i just have to find one so anyone close
To delaware with a z6 harness let me kno and thanx for the

U also would have to use the z6 alt. And splice in new connectors for the injectors I think

 

yea i just got my z6 harness today and the alt iis different so i have to order that now it feels like its a never ending thing when it comes to the swap its crazy but i guess after im done it will all be worth it cuz it was bulit not bought
