Hey, anyone have this problem. 97 Accord, 2.2 sohc, 152k miles, threw a cel code 70, several times, and then went into limp home mode. I reset the cel, and then the engine is reving high before changing to 3rd gear, and the same for 4th, then the cel comes on again. TPS is new and reads right voltages, tranny throttle cable has very little to no slack.

Have not used a ODBII tester yet, maybe I need to do that next. Any thoughts?

Update: Removed the cel code. Ran the car again, and the original problem began. That is, car would go into 1 and 2 gear only, then had trouble going into 1. Engine revved, and tried to change gears. This time on a short run, not cel came on. Maybe I will check the TCU and see if a cap or resistor looks blown.
