86 civic suspension question...

Default 86 civic suspension question...

I was wondering if coilovers from a 88-91 civic would work in my 86 civic hatch? does anyone know

although i can't say with 100% certainty, i will say it's pretty unlikely. the suspension systems between the two generations weren't even the same type. and unless this only applies to the wagon.. the '86 didn't even use coil springs, it uses torsion bar lower control arm with a damper. '88-'00 is double wishbone with coils.
