Default crower cams and AEM Fuel & Ignition Controller

hi, everyone.
im in need of some insight. I am torn between the crower stg 1 and 2 cams.
i would really like the stg2 just because itd be that much better but i understand that the idle gets alittle funky.
so heres my questions
would the aem f/ic work for this app?
what kind of difference would the stg2 do over the stg1 for power and drivablitly?
and lastly has anyone driven the stg2 without tuning and had no problems? (unlikly i know but had to ask)

?
Meaning you already have the AEM?
Anyway, post #43 informs that the only way to get idle is hondata.

Nope nothing yet. I got alittle behind on the build. But still on a budget.

If your build is serious enough that your looking to add stage 2 cams get Hondata, if not, stick with stage 1 cams.

If you get it right, the first time, then you don't have to worry about it later...

Since your serious then I'd save for Hondata now and once you get that start saving for a stage 2 or 3 cam. If you go for the piggy back AEM f/ic you won't be able to extract nearly as much power from the cam upgrade as you would with with Hondata.

Listen man. You don't have to be rude about it. It was just a question. I thought it was pretty self explanatory that I was wondering if anyone knew of someone that had it dynoed and wasn't 5-6 years old! And your link didn't provide anything. Came up with no result.

refusal to search is much worse. very rude and selfish.
proven for the fact that no other did reply since.
proven from the fact that you relied on my link.
our cars are much older than 5-6 years, so data still applies.
and note that most of your questions were replied - from a noob :D:D:D
And i have not seen any of these threads until now
difference is I am not lazy :D

And part of the reason you haven't seen any of these theards for a long time is because it was with a new unit to control them! I have seached even before the posts, I have searched lots! I know about brommerman and the other guy. If you actually read I was looking for info on the new unit and mindbomber gave me that. and while I had the opportunity I just threw the question out the if anyone knew of anybody has done it recently tell me what's the harm in that? You have no right to call me lazy at all. You have no idea how many threads I've searched and hours I've put in searching. If you don't know don't respond! That's why I don't post on other ppls threads much. I know my car but everyones ideas are different and everyone has there own opinions. Which is fine. But if you can't answer my question properly, like mindbomber did, then don't!! This has become a waste of time because your trying to "teach me a lesson" and are failing! It was a valid question! end of story!

Cams thrive on supporting mods, so I'm assuming you have I/H/E already, add Hondata and a stage 2 cam and I think you'd be in the 140whp range.

I've heard of stage 3 cams on a turbo'd d17a2 netting 75whp and its possible to use them on a DD D17 without issue on a car with hondata, but for those to be beneficial you need to either run higher compression pistons (the gx for example) or be turbo'd. I've also heard of stage 2 cams causing idle to run so rough with the lesser EMS systems that people stall at lights, so the tune and ems is really important.

Heres a good review of stage 2 cams that I have in my book marks.
