alright my car is getting body work done soon and i cant figure out if i wanna do satin black paint with purple accents, or a purple car with black accents, and what ever color the car will be, is also what the spokes on my rims will be and the accent color will be the lip, let me kno what u guys think.... heres a pic of my car

 

I have always wanted to paint my car lusterless black, with some gloss black tones and silver accents.

Black and purple sound good. You should post some samples of the paint colors.

nice color choices. but if i had to chooose id go with the darker purple just because its not so loud as the other purple and since its dark you have more accent choices to blend with. the satin black is nice to but if i did the satin black id have accents on the body as well the color is to plain to be alone. imo

I swear I just wet myself with those colors. Personally for me I would go with the candyish purple on flat black.

Welcome hondagrl23 Here is my satin black called "Hot Rod Black" by dupont. we added a matte gloss clear coat for protection.

 

I like that flat black, I think I'm gonna do flat black with those purple accents...

 

Here is a custom purple based off a oem paint. I wanted to make sure that no one could copy it.


Looks black at night, purple when the light hits it and red right before sundown. Best thing to do is work closely with your painter. Have him mix and shoot test strips till you find out what color you like. And keep the birth sheet for later!

What do you mean by accents?

I don't want to be mean, but when I think a two tone paint job with "accents" it ends up looking like Super Street crap from the late 90's.

Flat black is blah IMO.

Dvp is one of the most beautiful colors that dc2s came in...my vote goes for that if you really insist on having purple.

Bump for being like 2 hrs from me. Youll lose interest in flat black quickly. My hatch is flat black, and I loved it at first. Now I dont like it as much...

 

lol i live in cf with my bf sometimes and now were painting it gloss black with purple accents lol the rustolium way lol

 

 

go with a deep purple or midnight navy
