So I have a b16 trans from a 94 del sol and when its in gear its pretty hard to turn and when its in neutral it spins fine. I was wondering what could be the problem

 

Is this a new problem or has it been there since you've had the car/trans? Does it hop when turning?

 

The tranny isn't in the car I had the tranny sitting in my garage for a few months now and just noticed it

 

So you mean the transmission is hard to turn by hand or the car is hard to turn when its in gear?

If the first, could be a shim problem, bearing problem, or the fact that the trans isn't completely lubricated (though usually only a problem after a tear down and rebuild when everything isn't lubed correctly).

 

Its hard to turn by hand, I recently had a bearing replaced

 

I would talk to whomever did the work then.
