Are F22 and H22 axles the same??
I am gonna have to replace the tranny soon and I would like to get a set of aftermarket axles. I have a 96 S (crap lude) with the JDM H22 swap. I used my original f22 tranny but it couldn't take the new power...so anyway, I am trying to locate an H22 tranny but what about the axles??? Are they the same part or does the h22 have those equal length 1/2 shafts?? thanks
yup! people answer this. please.. if you know it. i don't want to get advice from people who just assume to know. im going to have a f22 to h22 swap soon. so might as well have the tranny and axles changed.
The F22 and the H22a1 axles have differant part #'s, but the half shaft's are the same. Usually when you buy the change over, it comes with tranny and axels.
well, I put a JDM H22 in my S lude and threw away the SOHC POS, but I am about to get the H22 trany and a set of aftermarket axles, and I didn't know if there was some weird thing to where I couldn't use the hubs with the H22 axles or something like that. Anybody know for sure everything will fit right?? I was gonna get a set of driveshaftshop stage 3's and a JDM H22 trany w/ LSD. all of this will go right into my S chasis without modifications correct??
Sorry to answer this so late, but I know FOR SURE that you can use the S (f22A) model axles in your H22A swap. My car is running S axles right now with no problems..
