Default prop valve??????please help!

I have a 93 civic eg hatch with rear disc brakes non abs. my stock prop valve went bad so i replaced it with a 40/40 prop valve the stock one was a 40/30 or 30/40. i Was wondering do i need the integra master cylinder to go with the 40/40 valve? Thank you.

I would ,just for size alone. Bigger master=more pressure=better stopping

It will be enough to properly operate either prop valve you are using. The prop valve it self only changes the distribution of force between front and rear, it does not change the pressure required.

If you have small front brakes then all swapping a bigger MC is going to do is give you a hard pedal.

Then you run a '94 - '97 Non ABS Integra MC (you'll need the matching brake booster as well) Or use a '90 - '91 Civic EX MC

Btw the stock civic hubs and the integra hubs have the same spline count where the axles go through so if that's the only reason you upgraded your brakes it really wasn't necessary.

the 5,9s required the larger bearing. cause when u get the axles they send u the hub with no wheel bearings and they required the integra or civic with abs hubs. so the wheel bearing will fit.

Look up how hydraulics work. It will move the same amount of fluid in a shorter stroke with the same size caliper piston.

i bled it twice and it just feels like it takes more push on the pedal for it to stop.
