Can I use OBD1 injectors with an OBD2 engine?
Car is a '96 DX. I want to replace the D16Y7 injectors with D15B8 injectors. The Y7 injectors have been used for ~200k miles. To reduce down time, I want to send the B8 injectors away to be cleaned and balanced, and then I will swap out the old Y7 injectors with the clean B8 injectors.
What I think I know:
(Please correct me if I am wrong or tell me if I am right)
◕ Both the Y7 and the B8 use 180 cc/min injectors
◕ Both are peak and hold
◕ Connectors are different
I have a set of OBD1 injector connectors. Is there any reason I can't use them with my OBD2 harness (cut the OBD2 connectors, splice in the OBD1 connectors)?
Will the B8 injectors fit correctly (in the rail, in the manifold, too long/too short etc.)?
Anything else that I haven't covered that may be an issue?
If all this seams fine, please say so. Thanks guys!

Should be fine, they're electrically the same, as long as the fitment is the same (which i'm about 99% sure it is) then you wont have any problems.
I'm pretty sure they are the same as well.
