Default rear speakers

so im trying to put in rear speakers in my 01 honda prelude and the stock plug has 4 wires and the aftermarket speekers only use 2 what 2 do i use?

Two (2) of the wires are for the acoustic "feedback" system.

If I remember correctly, Honda may have had an "bi-amped" system in Preludes one time, like the older Infinity systems in Chrysler's, [tweeter ran of amp in HU and woofer ran off a more powerful off-board amp] but more likely the acoustic feedback system, you would just not use those two leads. 94

It is the acoustic feedback system. I also can't remember if it was amped on the 97 or not.. I for some reason recall it being a 2 ohm stock speaker back there, but it's been so many years ago I'm most likely wrong.. I just remember wiring around the whole Acoustic Feedback system (the input lines to it from the head unit) and running lines right from there to the rear deck.
