B18a1 Crx cold start low rpms= hestitating to start???
Well lately, Ive been riding the car around til one day I just took it to a normal car shop for a small diagnostic and later told me that the car was a tooth off. Therefore, I did all the procedures to install it the correct way and I've notice that when I first started her up it went to around 100-300rpms then slowly picked itself up to 1k-1.5k rpms like it normally would to warm itself up. A little later It will drop to 700-750rpms which is good right? Before it would stay at 900 the lowest. Ok, now been said, today and yesterday morning I started the car and it starts good for 1-2seconds then rpms start to drop quickly to 100-300rpms hestitating to remain on. The car sounds as is if it wants to die. What I do is firmly press on the gas pedal up to 1000 for couple of seconds and then once I let go, the rpms go down to 750 for a little bit and then goes up to 1000 warming itself up and after a while it will go back down to 700-750rpms and stay that way.Throughout the whole day the car will start normally and run fine. Ive also notice that when I accelerate and let go off the gas pedal for it to idle it will then come down to 600rpm and up a little to 750 and stay there. Like Up, down, and a little up and stay. Lol ( i dont know if thats normal?) What could be the problem? Bad valves? I dont think it could be the timing belt because it feels much better now than before and idles good when warmed up staying at 700-750 rpms. Car shakes a lil also when its at around 700-750rpms but I for having a swap and age of the car I think its normal. Anyways, any input would be appreciated. Thanks
