Default Ls vtec turbo startup

Hey everyone, I just dropped a b16 head on my ls block and put a turbo on it. I was going to tow it to the dyno at CFT right after starting it up but after reading up, everyone says I need to break in my ls vtec. At the dyno, they're going to be pushing it as hard as they can so I was wondering if I should maybe street tune it before bringing it to the dyno! Please tell me what I should do or what you would do! Thanks!!!!
