There's nothing wrong with Capitol. It's an old reputation, and a shitty excuse for not running the number that guys around here might think they deserve.
Miller went .60's here last year iirc? Come up with a new excuse.

no. the track staff is terrible there. not the track itself. every time i race there one thing breaks and thats another 2 hours. MIR is WORLDS better. And the last time i was there i sat in the 1st staging lane for 3 hours for no reason. they kept cycling the other lanes numerous times and left 1 and 2 there.
This is an event, not an overcrowded t&t. I'm at Capital all the time, and yea, it gets crowded. It is very popular, so i show up at 4:30 on fridays to get my passes in early.
it wasnt crowded when i was there at all. thats the thing. ive only been there once crowded. they need to step their game up no matter what.
for the guy that pmed me, that statement was referring to a comment miller made in a interview lastyear. those who read it will know what i meant. i wasnt claiming to know anything about that track. some people are touchy these days.

Cliff does an excellent job of running the event when he comes through and it gets better every year so no complaints there
I have been 9.5s there MANY times. I'll admit the track isnt the best at times but everyone races on the same surface race day.....
I'm glad it will be cool weather unlike years past. In the heat the track can get slippy after the 1/8.
