Default Hondata s300/Boost option/USB port $600 shipped

Up for sale is my Hondata s300 ECU setup. It is installed inside of a P72 that was virgin. Works flawlessly. Has the data port installed along with the cable. Plug and play tunability. Selling for $600 shipped. (ECU along with Data Cable) no negotiations. Not in a rush to sell. Pictures upon request (Nothing to see really..they all look the same. Has a Hondata sticker on top of the ecu) FREE SHPPING

Boost option is for boost by gear.

This same set up sells for $590 on evans-tuning if you have your own ecu already, which also comes with a 50-100 dollar coupon.

I'm referring to the components that are soldered into the ecu board. I do not have the actual boost solenoid anymore.

Is the P72 the correct ECU for a 98 Civic? I thought I needed a P28? I could be mixing up numbers. If this will work for my car I'm interested.

you will need a OBD1 ECU... p72, p28 whatever it is that is CHIPABLE...you will need to get the conversion harness .... OBD2A to OBD1 to run that ecu

Correct, his S300 comes with a P72 already. I was trying to see if that's the correct ECU for a 98 Civic which is D16Y8 VTEC. I *think* the correct ECU I need is the P28. I was looking on phearable.net and they make it seem like I need the P28. If that's true then I should probably pass on this deal.

p28 came out of a d16z6 and is the most common ecu chipped to run hondata, crome, and so on. p72 came out of a b18c1 aka GSR. they are both obd1 ecu that can be rechipped to run aftermarket tuning units. What you'll need to run this ecu is a obd2a jumper to obd1.

But the b18 is a DOHC motor. Does that not matter? Are you saying I can use either the P72 or the P28 in my car with the ODB2A to ODB1 harness and have no differences or side affects?
