Default Proper Ways to Clean & rebuild a Z6 head?

I've got a z6 head sitting at the house and have never rebuilt a head before. Always wanted too so after reading numerous threads, the only question I have is what does everyone use to clean the internals of the head? Do you soak it in engine cleaner or gasoline or something?

I just sprayed mines down with brake clean then some seafoam. After that I went over everything with some squirts of oil and lucas oil stabilizer. All check your LMA's while your there. sitting that long they freeze from no oil. And take care of your valve adjustment too.
