Default **BRAKE GURUS... Enter here**

Hey guys, I have a question that hopefully someone can help me out with. I know there is a brake forum, but there are about 10 posts and no one reads it so that's useless.

I'm in need of replacement calipers for my rear brakes. I need something that will fit a 98-01 ITR 5 lug brake knuckle/rotor, that is NOT an ITR caliper. Reason being, the company that is supplying me with re-built OEM calipers does not offer ITR fitment because they are rare to come by. SO, I need an application that is more common, if such a thing exists.

Are there any other fitments i.e. Prelude, CRV, Legend, etc that will bolt on directly and work with ITR REAR pads/rotors/knuckle?

Thanks!

NH

EP3 calipers will work IIRC but you have to swap them from left to right.

Btw, have you considered rebuilding the ITR calipers? This is one of those rare cases where it might be worth it.

I know there's a sponsor in the brakes/suspension forum that sells re manufactured OEM brakes. Might not be a bad idea to PM him and see if they offer a rebuild service.

Someone on here once posted that CR-V and ITR calipers had the same part number.
Don't know if it's true.

They do, but that was for first gens, and front calipers, all first gen CR-Vs had rear drums unfortunately. Second gens I can't remember if they look the same or not, third gens are totally different.

IIRC the accord V6 rear calipers are the same and i think the last body style of prelude have the same. the problem with the EP3 and RSX is that when you flip them (for the ebrake) the bleeders are upside down.
