Power Steering still possible?
Starting off. I own a 95 civic w/ a B16A2 swap. Shortly after buying the car and realizing it had no power steering pump on it, I decided to get rid of the big ugly cord that comes from the firewall by cutting it off! Also I removed the power steering canister. But I'm pretty sure I can easily replace that. I still have the part and didn't so stupidly cut any of the hoses! So, my question is......... can I replace the hose that goes to a power steering pump if I decide to try to go back to power steering? I'm tired of hearing my wife complain about having no PS, and this is our only car and daily. So any help is much much much appreciated!
You'll need to replace the feed line you cut (which is a pain in the *** with the engine in, but doable) you'll also need a Del Sol VTEC upper P/S bracket, the lower one can be from a Del Sol VTEC or any '94 - '97 Integra. Pump comes from a '92 - '95 Civic or '94 - '97 Integra.
Running a depowered P/S rack sucks, it takes more effort to turn than a real manual rack.

Thanks for the response, but I've changed my mind. No PS it is. The Wifey will just have to suck it up. Its really not that bad without it. This thread can be terminated!
Yea I know. I have one being shipped to me from a guy or someone on the good old EBay. It's used, but will do the job. I've been really worried about this problem and oraying nothing happens! Keeping my finger's crossed
