So I am picking up a freshly rebuilt b18b tomorrow.
Fresh rebuild. stock rebuild+
je piston rings
aro rod bolts
acl race bearings.


Now my question is, there is no real way for me to know whether the engine has truely been rebuilt or not? He says he has most of the receipts from the build. So hoping the dates line up and such. It's a complete long block. Getting it for 565.

Any things I can inspect to kind of make sure it's a good motor?
I want to take the guys word for it but.. you know how it is. The motor is going to be going into my 97 civic hx. It is my daily driver. Then I am going to turbo it once I know the motor is strong and ready. And broken in.
