Default JDM style fabric for armrests....

I'm looking for a fabric that resembles the JDM red for the side armrests and center armrest... Or maybe even a blue style... Anyone know where this could be purchased or has anyone done this and has pics to show?

It's not "JDM", it's just the fabric that Recaro uses on their seats, I'm pretty sure.

hey, the material is a tweed type of fabric, i just did that mod on my car, tried it with the tweed, and failed bad. the texture and stretchiness of the material is hard to work with, and didnt form well to the armrests. had the tweed on for about 3 weeks and it just got nastier and nastier. so i decided to take it off, and go for a red vinyle (spelling?)....it worked awesome the vinyle stretched awsome and is still going strong, and i have had it on for 4 months..... i think you can see it at this website..... not very detailed though http://www.acdesign.cc

this reply makes me mad so i'm going to reply back... as you can see i said jdm STYLE fabric i want the fabric that looks like the JDM ctr arm rests. Why must you bash me? The reason i said JDM is because they only came in the JDM vehicles. you take the word JDM to a new level thinking it means only certain things... give me a break

can you take some pics around the parts where it's like a sharp angle... did you have any problems with it rippling near those parts?

hey, yah its really hard to get the fabric not to ripple, but i had come up with a solution after practically making my finger tips bleed, what you do is take your door panel appart, once you have laid the vynile down somwhat good you start in the places where it would tend to krinkle up and you staple it down, i probably used about 50 staple on each arm rest, this gaurantees that the fabric wont loosen up and start to bubble up , i just worked that vynile like a savage, when i was done that **** looked like it was there from the very beginning, oh yah also use the 3m crazy adhesive spray, and dont be shy with that **** either, spray armrest peice and the fabric too. like i said it took me two times, so represent the east side and bust em out, it looks awesome .....
