p1457 code

I throw this code every other day then delete with my obd2 scanner, I know it means Evaporator emission something but what does that mean how do I fix

Check for a bad gas cap seal and a vacuum leak.

Jeez, Ive had that one for a while. I think it might be the evap purge sitting on top of my gas tank. I've had the part but havent replaced it yet.
