Default accord shell?

i have a 97 accord special edition as you might know they only come in automatic -_- anyways im wondering where can i find the same generation or same year 4 door accord like mine for sale thats a manual and is just a shell/no engine and if no transmission thats ok i'll buy 1 separately, i try to search accord shell on craigslist but nothing comes up and ik theres a diff word people use instead of shell? if not how can i go about buying a cheap 4 door 5th gen manual accord with no engine and tranny so i can swap my f22b2 engine into it..... thnx

why not just swap the tranny on your car...its seems like it would be alot cheaper and smart than what you have planned

op did say he was going to buy a tranny separately if he bought a shell with no tranny. why not just get 1 now and swap it into his SE accord?

If you are going to go to all that trouble. Just sell yours and buy another one with a running engine and 5 speed. They aren't terribly hard to find as far as cars in general are concerned.

im not trying to swap a manual into an automatic thats too much work for me and quite frankly its alot easier to buy an empty manual and swap the engine!

your way of thinking makes no sence....isnt swapping a engine about as hard as swaping a tranny if not easier since there are less wires

i think the only thing you would really have to do to your auto that would be different is drill that one hole in your firewall, run a wire for reverse lights, and run shift cables

Do a trans swap in the car you have, at least you already know what you got.
literaly all the things u listed is easier to do than transform an automatic to a manual!
