If its a base your asking too much.

 

Why not list some specs out? Base or Type-S? Leather or cloth seats? Auto or manual? Dealer installed options?

Also, you should try to part it out and return it to stock. Only rarely do people pay more for a modified car.

 

It's a base w/ leather 5 spd. It's worth $20275 according to Kelly's Blue Book.

You know... calling it a 5-speed doesn't actually tell us if it's an auto or a manual.. the auto in the rsx is a 5 speed too..

I don't mean this as a criticism I just find it funny that people equate 5-speed with a manual transmission when quite a few are 6 speeds and quite a few autos are 5 speed...

where are you gonna get a new type-s for 21k??? sticker is already 23,600 w/o tax and license. just wondering, because I shopped around for a type s, and the best price i got was $24,400 out the door from a fleet manager. But then again, I live in LA. The guy is selling by bluebook, which imo isn't unreasonable, just difficult to find a buyer.

my dad was gonna buy one.......he talked the dealer into 21000 ....not including tt&l ....hes got a way of cracking..i dont know how..he paid 25k for a new Izuzu trooper in 95 ...thats practically invoice

 

My friend got the exact same RSX as you from acura(same interior options). It was stock, but it had 17k miles, and he got it for 17.5k. That was from teh dealer.

 

I'll sell my Type-S for $21000,...w/ just a spoiler,..gotta sell everything else(maybe a S2000 shift ****) to come out ok,...any takers??hahahaha

I highly doubt that...my Base Automatic with leather is 22,350 brand new, so I doubt a base manual coting less, would only depreciate, what, less than a $1000? I got $20k for my Type S with 5k miles on it, with the mileage on your car and a base, youll be lucky to get $19k.

 

With that money I could get a Type-S with a few extra bills.

 

I decided to drop the price, it is now 19k fully loaded, and 18k w/o anything.

i guess by that standards i should sell my own car for what the car is worth bluebook value, which is undetermined....so its priceless. bidding starts at 1 million dollars
