Does anyone know of a place where I can buy a decent set of fairings? I have been looking for a while and all I can find is stuff made of fiberglass and that is not what I want.

I got a set from China off Ebay about two years ago. They fit pretty damn good for being custom painted and an entire set for only $500, shipped. They were plastic and I didn't have any problems with cracking, melting or anything else. I did have to enlarge two holes, but you couldn't tell once the bolt was in place, and I had to trim a little bit around one side of the head light with an x-acto knife, but again- once it was in place, you couldn't tell.

It's pretty much either that or OEM.

Well thanks for actually giving me an answer without being a tool. I really and truly appreciate it.

Thanks for asking a question after you have at least shown an effort to search. You must be trainable after all.

+1, another issue you may run into are the attachment points on the fairings not fitting together quite right because of the 32480972389472348097 coats of clearcoat they apply, but overall these chinese fairings work very well
