Default Air Intake on 4G with B16

Has any one used the shorty AEM intake for 99-00 civic Si in 4 G civic with B16 swap? IT ends right on the battery. I need an extension. Perhaps AEM makes an extender that I can use so that the filter element is relocated just past the batttery?
TIA

is that the one that is just straight, then filter? sounds like yer screwed unless you want to move the battery to the back. the injen intake works great for the b16ed EF..it have the bends to go around the battery, and it's 3 inch just like the aem.

i had the same problem with an iceman intake, so i had iceman send me the arm for the 88-91 crx, then i cut and matched it w/ the straight one they had sent me..but iceman intakes are plastic w/ aem are metal.
