ECHC round #5: Where is everybody?
Waiting til the last minute as always.
I'm thinking of getting a plaque printed up for the "Karl Shultz Wait Until the Last Minute to Register" Award.

I'm in!!!!!
just drilled out the guts of my thermostat, leaving the outer housing (should be enough restriction to keep the flow right). refilled rad with water. changed oil. finished reading "the Little Engine that could" to the LS motor before loading it in the trailer and pointing it south.....
Can't wait for VIR!!!

Karl is much faster at VIR than he was at Lowes.

Mike, while that was fun (big fun actually) I don't intend to be racing with the H4 cars at VIR.

From a purely selfish standpoint it's really gonna suck *** for me if you can't make it.
After our year long battle, I'd really like to have to earn the trophy instead of taking it by default.
Put your unwanted stuff up on ebay and in the classifieds forum. Headers especially always sell.
Note: Not discounting Rice here. If Brinson is a no-show I win the champeenship even if Shultzy beats me.

MIA it is after all... I was absolutely certain I'll be there up to maybe a week ago. There was really nothing I could see getting in the way short of maybe the motor letting go on the day of driving it on the trailer, but as usual there always is something that comes up. This time it's the petit le mans. I knew perfectly well both these events existed but only until recently I actually realized they're on the same date. I would still have chosen to run the echc instead of buying an expensive ticket to watch the petit le mans weekend, but due to a commitment done quite a long while ago (the main reason why I simply forgot about it) I'll be crewing for one of the WC teams instead. I can't back down on my word with the road atlanta since I won't be able to crew for vir at the end of october, something I said before I most likely would be able to do. Actually I don't really know why I'm boring everyone with my lame excuse anyway!
Good luck to you guys going. I look forward in joining you guys next year for at least the minimum required events needed to run for points (and I ain't going to be on hoosiers.)

Believe it or not, I just registered. Really.

I believe that Evans won't be at this one- he has a conflicting SCCA schedule for this event and needs to attend it as he's in battle for championship with their series- and as he's already taken H4 for ECHC, the SCCA event is where he'll be. (Good luck James!)
Lyonel will be there as usual- unless otherwise posted he'll always be at every ECHC event. But I always wait to register him until the last minute (before late fees come into play) because straight up- we are broke and shouldn't race- the longer we wait to register the more time I have to cook up how on earth I can pay for his entry fee...Danielle

At this point we will not have our own run group.

Bookler - theft
