Default Hellppp!! With Gsr Head

So I've had a 96 integra for quite a while and just got into the whole DIY stuff and noticed the other day that coolant was leaking =(. Followed it and it was coming from the head right under the distributor looks like the head gasket is off by like a quarter inch so coolant is seeping out. Car doesnt overheat or anything but i was wondering should I replace the head gasket? if so how much would be the normal for a shop to do it or i guess do it yourself i know a head gasket only cost around 60 70 dollars since my car is turboed and i need a thicker gasket. Thanks in advance for help guys kinda still learning

Are you sure it's not leaking from the intake manifold?

Any pics of the leak? About how much coolant is leaking? Have you had to top the radiator or reservoir off? I've done my head gasket like 4 times. Not that hard. The clean up before placing down the new gasket is the biggest pain in the *** in the whole process. If it is leaking you should change it before it becomes a big problem or the car overheats. Especially if it's turbo'd.

Good point. Coolant hose runs to intake manifold on that side.

yeah im pretty sure because theres slight coolant on top of the transmission only no where else i cleaned up everything and thats the only place ive seen it coming out from but i will deff look at the intake manifold but its leaks a tiny bit at a time like 2 3 drops every here and there and car doesnt over heat so im confused because i always thought if it was the head gasket oil would come out or oil would mix with the coolant but i havent seen any of that so far

If you're hg is bad it coolant would be leaking internally!

it could be leaking out of the ect sensor.

what happened to me before was that the hose that goes to the thermostat was put on weird so it squirt out a little coolant every now and then i just squeezed the clamp moved the hose around and then burped my cooling system because i know i got some air in it and it never leaked again
