91 accord died on freeway, it blew the ecu 15 fuse under dash. cant find a short anywhere. no code, not the alternator its good. it will start for a moment before it blows the fuse again. but if i un-plug the alternator it will run badly but wont blow the fuse. when the fuse is blown i have no spark or fuel pump. what if i skipped timing would that make my fuse blow? im lost any suggestions will help.

 

Hmm. My ECU fuse blew in my 1993. Safe to say, I replaced it and never blew again. *knock on wood*

 

Never heard of this before. Ignition timing is controlled by the ECU, hence no spark. Interesting that when the alternator is unplugged the fuse doesn't blow. Don't have an ETM near me to look at the circuit. Sure sounds related
