i have disk brakes on all four wheels, and whenever i brake hard i can smell burnt brakes and my brakes tend to get weak. is there a problem with my brakes?? if so how can i fix this problem? thanks in advance

 

maybe the lines are loose
maybe you need new lines
maybe you need to bleed the brakes

pick one...good luck hope you find the problem

 

check your master cylinder or pump(that big black thing on the fire wall... sorry dont know what that damn think is called.... ) that tends to give a burnt smell and ruins your braking power......

 

Brake booster would be the name.

 

If one of your calipers is dragging a bit, when you use the brakes, the dragging pads will be hot and will grab hard and can give off some odor. Check all your wheels and see if one has alot more brake dust than the others.
