Cam question

I have a D16y8 head and rockers, but the cam is bad and need to replace. Will a d16y7 cam fit and work properly? THANKS

I have searched but found no answer

D16y7 cam is a NON-Vtec cam..it will not work for your y8 head which is Vtec
