Ok so i bought a EF sedan with a 4th gen zc. Its obd1 converted running a p28 right now. Ive had the car for a month now and its driven very nice and always ran good. Till a few weeks ago I was driving and I noticed the rpms jumping and cutting out and soon after it died. Pulled over tried starting it and wouldn't start. Sat on the side of the road for a few minutes and it started right up. It will be fine for a few days and randomly die and then I let it sit and it fires back up. I'm new to the zc so some help and info would be nice. Friends car had a similar problem and it was the fuel pump would that make sense?

 

sounds like a fuel pump issue to me, or possibly the main relay.
